Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Amazed at last night’s service. A new light, a new hope. Jesus may not have been born at night, and most likely was not born in December. We know he was born, lived, and died for our sake. I’m exceedly awed that the Lord of the universe would make himself so vunerable to humankind so that we might be reconciled and spend eternity with him. How humbling this is when you truly dwell on the thought. Born as all other babes, with pain, blood and much labor into a dark and sinful world. How God loves us. “Amazing love, how can it be? That thou my God wouldst die for me?”
